Personal Project
Narrative:
Watch the circle embarks on an adventurous journey through a boxy environment, bouncing with sneaky fun and excitement. This animation brings the circle to life, making every move a thrilling spectacle.
Goal:
Creating a dynamic and exciting animation with a circle while exploring squash and stretch to bring character to the circle.
Process:
This was a very playful animation, and I really had a fun time exploring different ways of bringing life to a circle through out the animation with a clean style with a limited color palette.
Storyboard:
Creating the storyboard helped me explore how the circle would travel through the boxy environment and quickly map out the idea, allowing me to think where would the circle bounce.
Illustrator:
I used Illustrator to help me get the design done by using only different tones of gray, which allows me to focus on the composition and plan out where the circle would bounce.
After Effects:
Using simple techniques like squash and stretch to bring the circle to life in the animation. The music has helped with the pacing of the animation, which sped up the process of animating the circle.
